Well in accordance to President Obama’s transparency policy he has launched the new Federal Investment Technology site called the Federal IT Dashboard. This is really interesting and informative to view. You should also while you are there check out the FAQ section.

This dashboard is designed to give federal agencies and the general public and accountability of governmental spending and budgeting for investment technologies. Check it out and learn what you government is spending our tax dollars on. There will be new features added as they go along with the development of the new dashboard as well as an area for our feedback. Once that gets up I know I would love to see a comment or suggestion area for Americans to submit to this site for specific budgeting and investment questions, comments, or ideas.

Everyday I feel more and more connected with my government and I hope you do also. Not just for the scrutiny of it all the time but just for the massive amounts of information that can pour out of government it helps to have numerous avenues to receive information and learn about how our government works.
