First Christmas with the Obama’s
First Christmas with the Obama’s
Now that the White House Christmas Tree is up it’s time for guest and the first would be Oprah for her Premiere Christmas show with the Obamas last night.

Oprah Winfrey’s Christmas Premier show last night was a nice break in the staunch regime of the white house schedule. Allowing Americans to come the the White House and share President and Firs Lady Obama’s first Christmas in the White House.
As I watched is was a refreshing change from the daily duties that are performed at the White House. Of course Bo was a pleasure he is just a well cared for animal and of course well loved. Being that it is my home I felt right at home and welcomed.
The best statement that I like was that President Obama stated that, “This is not the President’s and his families home rather it is the people’s home. He is just renting”
What moved me mos was the talk he had with Oprah about the Oval Room and how important it was and intense because it was were he signed and will sign many pieces of legislature. The most solemn was when he stated that he signs papers to let families know that their loved ones have been killed in battle in the war. I could see the pain and hurt. He hates this war and what it does to people and their lives. He would rather construct and build than destroy. He does realize that war is a part of maintaining and securing our freedom and liberties unfortunately but none the less he became very sadden when he spoke of this act that he performs of the Oval Room.
Of course you know that Oprah was going to ask about his feelings of the war and why he decided to send more troops. He was ready believe me he has been asked this and he is a reader of blogs, newspapers, etc to be up on the news as to what is going on can you say J.F. Kennedy he was the same way adamant about what was going on in the country.
President Obama stated what he did when he spoke to us about he decision a few weeks ago. That he disliked this and had a hard time coming to this decision but in the long run safety for the world he and our allies felt it was necessary for another 18 months to do what is needed to train the Afghanistan forces then get the heck out of Afghanistan.
While war is beckoning abroad there is a flicker of happiness, joy and thankfulness in the holidays.

i believe that Barack Obama is the president that the US needs in these hard times. I do not like the local and foreign policy of any Rebublican.
