Welcome to the Barack Obama Evolution Blog. I am so excited to have this blog because I will be able to express, learn, and partake in this countries changes that we are about to embark on under President Obama’s tenure and our federal government.

Why did I want to start this blog? First I am a part of the attentive public. If you are not sure what that is all about let me explain.

Attentive: heedful, mindful, aware, alert, awake, watchful

Public: a particular group of people with a common interest, aim,

Put them together and you have a person(s) who are aware and watchful to a certain subject or subjects.

Ever since President Barack Obama ran for Senator of Illinois I have been watchful of his political career. I have watched him so much that I feel that I know his body language so well, I know what he is about to say. Now that can be kind of scary but none the less it is partly true.

So I have been watching him and when he began his campaign for President well I thought now I really have to be mindful and watch him.

Now he is president. So here I am watching and mindful, of President Obama and our federal government. Now don’t get me wrong here I have always been interested in politics since college so much that I minored in it. The inner workings of our government intrigue me and I just can’t help it I have to know, I’ve got to know more, how and why policies, decisions are made. No, I won’t know everything ( nor do I want to) and I don’t know everything but I want to be an informed U.S. citizen as much as I can be.

So this blog came into being. I feel that through my posts learning and being attentive I can help those who want some answers, reasons and fairness for the American people.

It’s just that simple. I hope that some of my posts will if anything, get you to thinking about the state of our country and that you are compelled to share some of your thoughts and actions in the comment box. This blog is a pocket in the market place of ideas and I would love to read yours, make me think also. You just never know we may just come up with some solutions that can be submitted to the President himself. We have to heal, we will heal.
